Question 1

How is TileLens different from Google Lens?

Accepted Answer

Google Lens searches the entire public internet — showing random products, competitor websites, or international stores you don't stock. TileLens searches ONLY within your own existing tile & ceramic catalog. When a customer shows you a photo, TileLens finds products you actually have in stock and can sell right away.

Question 2

Why is searching our own catalog more beneficial than public search?

Accepted Answer

Public image search distracts customers with products they cannot buy from you. By searching strictly within your private catalog, TileLens helps your sales team immediately confirm stock, quote prices, and recommend in-stock alternatives without losing the customer.

Question 3

What happens if the exact tile in the photo is out of stock or discontinued?

Accepted Answer

TileLens automatically finds 2 to 3 visually similar tiles from your active inventory with matching color tones, patterns, and surface finishes. This lets your sales team offer an immediate alternative rather than saying 'we don't have it'.

Question 4

How do we add our tile & ceramic catalog to TileLens?

Accepted Answer

It's simple. You can share your product spreadsheet / CSV with photos, or connect your existing ERP/inventory system. Our team sets up your visual search in just a few days with zero technical hassle.

Question 5

Can our field sales reps use TileLens on WhatsApp or counter tablets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your sales reps can forward customer photos directly to our WhatsApp or Telegram bot on job sites, or use our clean web screen on showroom tablets to find matching tiles in under 2 seconds.
